AIAAR is a registered body registered under SR Act of XXI of 1860. No. S/25886 of 1994. It is registered on 22nd April 1994 with a 14 members Association at the address J-92, Saket, New Delhi.

The first get-together was held on 19th June 1994 for practical purposes and maximum number of members were enrolled.

The first Bulletin namely “AIAAR BULLETIN” was published in December 1994 as the then President and Founder Mr. I.P. Bahl said “In the initial start it does take time to take bearings and to get things going, especially in a voluntary organization”. Now the name of the bulletin has been changed to “SOLE SEARCHING”, which is published quarterly.

AIAAR also helped Doordarshan (DD) to make a thirteen episodes serial for spreading awareness and clearing the concept of the technicalities of Reflexology. It was aired from 7th January 1995 on DD Channel I.

The Association also took part in mela (Fair) on Alternative treatments held by Bharat Nirman from 1994 to 1997.

Earlier, only basic course on Reflexology was taught by the Founder and Patron Sh. I.P. Bahl, later on as the demand and awareness arises he introduced an advance course which was very helpful for the persons who wishes to make reflexology a career.

As the time passes, Teacher’s training Course was introduced to help ready the teachers who can teach the subject to others.

In 1995, a website on Reflexology “www.reflexology.co.in” was uploaded with a vision to spread the uniqueness of the Reflexology treatments which is safe and sound.

Mr. I.P. Bahl under the aegis of the Association also trained voluntary to the blind people and converted a book on Reflexology in Braille for the blinds to learn this technique and help them stand on their feet.

The Association is his dream and we all still are working to fulfill his dream.
